Shipping policy

Reliable, curated and transparent – just like every PellTex shipment.


Order Processing Time

Each order is handled with care and attention:

  • In-stock items: shipped within 24–48 business hours.

  • Items requiring cutting or preparation (leathers, fabrics, remnants): allow 2–3 extra working days.

  • Made-to-order or custom production: up to 90–120 days, depending on the processing stage.
    (We’ll keep you updated along the way.)


Shipping Methods

We always choose the best method based on your order:

  • 📦 Standard parcels: ideal for samples, remnants, and small cuts.

  • 📏 Large rolls: shipped rolled and well-protected.

  • 🪵 Pallet delivery: used for full hides or larger quantities.

  • 🏢 Local pickup: available by appointment at our logistics site in southern Italy (Bari area).


Shipping Costs

  • Calculated automatically at checkout, based on weight/volume and destination.

  • For oversized shipments or international orders, we’ll provide a custom quote.

  • Free shipping in Italy for orders over [insert threshold]€.


Tracking & Delivery

  • You’ll receive a tracking link by email/SMS as soon as your order is shipped.

  • Standard delivery is made to street level.

  • On request:
    Appointment-based delivery (extra fee)
    Pallet delivery with liftgate
    Custom delivery notes to the courier


Remote Areas & Limitations

  • Certain areas (small islands, remote zones, ZTL) may require additional time or cost.

  • Rolls over 150 cm, parcels over 30 kg or bulky formats may incur volumetric surcharges.


Packaging

Our leathers and fabrics are protected using:

  • Dust-proof film

  • Anti-color migration interleaves

  • Reinforced boxes and pallets

♻️ We strive to reduce waste while ensuring maximum product safety.


Damaged or Irregular Shipments

Upon delivery:

  • Always check the package carefully.

  • If damaged or tampered with: sign with detailed reservation (e.g. “box crushed”) and take photos.

  • Report to [support email] within 24 hours with:

    • Outer package photo

    • Shipping label

    • Inner packaging + product photo

We'll promptly propose a replacement, refund, or credit note, as appropriate.


Invoicing

  • An electronic invoice is issued at the time of shipment.

  • EU customers with a valid VAT number will receive intra-community invoices (no VAT, reverse charge).
