🔧 1. How leather is produced

The leather you find on our site is entirely produced in Italy and comes from a controlled and certified supply chain: we start with raw hides, primarily bovine, from food industry waste, which are then processed through tanning processes.

We then move on to the finishing process with treatments to improve its aesthetics and functionality, obtaining a product ready for use in furniture, leather goods, objects, and design.

📐 2. Available formats: choose according to your needs

We offer a flexible range of sizes to meet every need, from professionals to small-scale artisans to individuals purchasing leather to have their old product reupholstered by their trusted upholsterer.
Inside each product you will find two selection buttons:

🟤 Leather in square meter

Perfect for larger projects. Each cowhide has a variable surface area (between 4 and 5.5 square meters on average).
By choosing this option you can purchase leather by the metre , starting from a minimum of 2 square metres (equivalent to half a small leather ) and proceeding in steps of 0.5 m2 until you reach the desired quantity.

Based on the size selected, you will be sent a combination of whole or half hides that will together reach the surface area ordered, trying to maintain a single cut where possible .

🟫 Surface area in square meters (m2)

• 2 m2 → small half-skin

• 2.5 m² → half large skin

• 4 m2 → small full skin

• 4.5 m2

• 5 m2 → large full skin

📏 Please note: the size ordered is approximate. Each whole hide has a different size, so you will be sent the quantity closest to the chosen surface area.

Example:

If the quantity purchased is: 17.5m2 of the Maya item, Artic 7320 col.

We will ship:

4 cowhides (4.24m2 + 4.51m2 + 4.17m2 + 4.75m2) = 17.67m2

or

3 cowhides (5.06m2 + 5.11m2 + 4.98m2) + 1 half cowhides (2.45m2) = 17.60m2

🟤 Leather in pre-cut formats

This option allows you to purchase leather in ready-made square cuts , ideal for small projects, samples or precision work.
The available sizes are 10x10 cm , 30x30 cm , 40x40 cm and 50x50 cm , all carefully cut from the same type of leather as the chosen item.

You can select the desired quantity of pieces for each size: for example, 2 pieces 30×30 cm or 3 pieces 50×50 cm.
It's a practical and convenient solution for those who want to test colors, textures, and finishes before purchasing larger quantities or creating small, artisanal creations.

✔ The skins are carefully packaged to protect their quality during transport.
✔ Samples and cut pieces are shipped in flat envelopes or small boxes.

🛒 6. How to order on the site (steps)

1. Go to the desired product.

2. Select the size (sample, cut piece, m²).

3. (If available) Choose the processing : none, drilled, punched or laser engraved.

4. Select quantity.

5. Add to cart and proceed to checkout
